    I am having problems wit my business math class .The probmle i having trouble with is this one “Bakers financial planners purchased seven new computers for $850 each. It received a 15% discount because it purchased more then five and an additional 6% discount because it took immediate delivery.terms were 2/10 ,n/30.Bakers pays the bill within the cash discount period. How much should the check be ? Round to the nearest Cent.” i have no idea how to start.

    Multiply the 8 computers purchased by 850.00=6800.00, then multiply the total for the computers which is the 6800.00 by 15%=1200.00. the 1020.00 is the 15 per cent discount amount. You subtract this amount from 6800.00=5780.00. Multiply the 5780.00 by the 6% discount for the immediate delivery term=346.80. Yiou then subtract 346.80 from 5780.00=5433.20. Multiply 5433.20 by 2% discount=108.66. subtract 108.66 from 5433.20 =5324.54. Your answer is 5324.54.
