Is Genetic Engineering bad or good? It's actually kind of both. Many farmers use genetic engineering to have better produce. We have made plants that resist mildew and longer lasting plants.
Now when it comes to humans, that can go overboard. One example is shown in a new fiction book called My Sister's Keeper by J. Picoult. This book is about a family that has a daughter that would soon die. the parents go and see a genetic engineer that makes a twin to make transplants. After the daughter got older she got a lawyer and put charges against her parents and wanted to keep her own body parts. now of course this is not true but it still shows us that genetic engineering can hurt people and it is best to let God be in charge of creation.
Genetic Engineering is like trying to be stronger than God, which is wrong because God is the real Creator. In the Bible god gave man different languages so so they could not talk about making the Tower of Babel. In God's perspective man was trying to be stronger than Him. Genetic Engineering has two sides. We as Christians need to be aware of what we are doing and that God is our Creator.
