Statement of Cash Flow
The Cash Flow Statement reports on a business' cash flow from operations, financing, and investment activities over a given period. It shows how money has flowed into and out of the company, and generally demonstrates the short-term viability of the company's cash position. It also explains how the cash position can change independently of profit -- $1 million in sales on credit can make the income statement profitable, but without the cash the company might be in dire financial straits.
