Ingredients for Cookie Biscotti Sticks

1 cup brown sugar

2/3 cup butter

1/4 cup corn syrup

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 tablespoon vanilla

3 1/2 cups oats

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels

2 tablespoons shortening

1/2 cut chopped peanuts

Directions for Cookie Biscotti Sticks - baking the sticks

Combine brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in pan. Heat and stir until sugar dissolves.

Stir in 1/4 cup of peanut butter and oats.

Press into 13" x 9" pan (lined with foil)

Bake at 375º F for 30 minutes

Directions for Cookie Biscotti Sticks - spread the topping

You can start this while the cookie is baking.

Melt over medium heat and stir until smooth the chocolate morsels, shortening, and 1/2 cup peanut butter.

Spread over the sticks (after they finnish baking...)

Sprinkle with nuts. Feel free to press them in a bit so they don't come loose so easily.

Cool and cut into 1" logs.
